This 451-bed comprehensive medical care institution supports a high-acuity vascular surgery service and maintains the clinical infrastructure necessary to facilitate coordinated surgical and inpatient care. The facility operates with a dedicated team of NPs and PAs, reflecting a stable staffing environment with minimal turnover. Established workflows and on-site physician availability support autonomous APP practice throughout each assigned coverage period.

New York State offers a range of outdoor and cultural experiences suited to varied interests. Clinicians on assignment may explore hiking and kayaking in the Catskills and Adirondacks, boat tours and fishing along the Thousand Islands and St. Lawrence River, and natural landmarks such as Niagara Falls, Watkins Glen State Park, and Letchworth State Park. The Hudson Valley and Finger Lakes regions provide access to scenic trails, local wineries, and waterways, while attractions such as the Strong Museum of Play, Storm King Art Center, and the National Comedy Center round out a diverse set of options for leisure throughout the state.

Clinicians will provide vascular surgery coverage across inpatient and operating room settings on a day shift basis with call required, working autonomously to cover the patients and surgeries of 5 surgeons. Responsibilities include first assist in the OR and floor rounding, with a service census of approximately 15-20 patients and an expectation to round on 3-5 patients per day alongside 7-8 OR cases per day. An on-call physician is available 24/7, and the primary surgeon for each patient remains accessible throughout the assignment. All clinical documentation is to be completed using the EPIC EMR system. Board certification in Vascular Surgery and prescriptive authority are required for consideration.
